Back row Lennon Greggains will make his playing return as Dragons A kick-off a series of games with a behind closed doors friendly with Cardiff Blues A at Ystrad Mynach (kick-off 4pm).
Former Wales Under-20s ace Greggains, who has not played senior rugby since March 2019 after a serious knee injury, is included for the clash that will give both young players and the wider squad game time and development opportunities.
Greggains will pack down with Dragons Academy ace George Young in the back row in a side that features ten changes to the team that faced Scarlets A earlier this month.
A new-look front row will see Josh Reynolds, Rhys Lawrence and Chris Coleman combine while Max Williams features in the second row. Deon Smith partners Aneurin Owen in midfield while wing Rio Dyer also starts. Arwel Robson and Dan Babos operate at half back.
