Lock ace Matthew Screech has today claimed the Guinness PRO14’s Ironman Award after an outstanding campaign for Dragons.
Screech, 27, topped the action played with an incredible 1,161 minutes over the entire regular season.
The second row started all 15 games in the competition for Dean Ryan's men - and played just short of 20 hours in the tournament.
Scarlets back row Josh Macleod was named the Big Red Cloud Turnover King with 23 turnovers while the top try-scoring gong went Cheetahs wide man Rhyno Smith (10).
The Guinness PRO14 will announce the player and coach of the year awards next week with captains, vice captains and head coaches having their say. The media will also vote for the league’s Dream Team and next generation star.
