Top four finale on Premier Sports

03/09/2020

The battle for the 2020 Guinness PRO14 crown steps up a notch this weekend with two big semi-finals showcased live on Premier Sports 1 as Leinster face Munster and Edinburgh host Ulster.

As the 2019/20 season reaches conclusion, two top-billing rugby games are in store for supporters this Friday and Saturday on Premier Sports who will be delivering every minute of live HD action plus a full half-hour build-up with the best analysis and inside track.

Bringing rugby supporters all the semi-final drama in the comfort of their homes will be an experienced team from across Scottish and Irish rugby: Fri 4 Sept (Premier Sports 1 from 7pm) Leinster v Munster with Graham Little, Stephen Ferris and Bernard Jackman (Aviva Stadium, Dublin) Sat 5 Sept (Premier Sports 1 from 7pm) Edinburgh v Ulster with Dougie Vipond, Rory Hamilton, Paul Marshall, Chris Paterson, Jim Hamilton and Andrew Trimble (BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh)

Defending champions Leinster will top the polls after impressively finishing the season with a 100% winning record but their rivals Munster will be determined to have the final say at the Aviva Stadium (live on Premier Sports 1 this Friday 4 Sept from 7pm).

Leinster have the chance of securing a hat-trick of PRO14 titles after their 2018 and 2019 triumphs and this will be their 9th Guinness PRO14 Final.

Munster will be in defiant mood with the anguish of losing out in their last four semi-finals contests and with the added the spur of knowing that they ran Leinster so close (27-25) just a fortnight ago still fresh in their minds.

Up in Scotland, Edinburgh host Ulster where the two teams are sure to put on a show with so much at stake (live on Premier Sports 1 Sat 5 Sept from 7pm).

Ulster have won their last three meetings against Edinburgh and have the experience of reaching nine Guinness PRO14 semi-finals behind them but have lost both their matches since the restart.

Edinburgh reach their first PRO14 semi-final and despite losing out to Glasgow last weekend (3-15), have had an impressive run of six successive Guinness PRO14 victories prior to that.

Premier Sports is celebrating the return to rugby with a special offer for supporters to watch the 19/20 season Final Series and every game next season for just 50p a game.
