Dragons centre Connor Edwards played a key role as Doncaster Knights recorded a fifth successive victory of the season as they battled past Jersey Reds to remain unbeaten in the Greene King IPA Championship.
Edwards operated at inside centre as Knights made it five from five with another fine display as they claimed a 22-10 victory at Castle Park.
Edwards joined the Yorkshire based outfit on a season-long-loan from the Men of Gwent and has made a big impression in his short stint to date, with some impressive performances in midfield.
The 23-year-old from Croesyceiliog made the move north in a bid for game time and he has impressed with his direct running and strong defence, helping Head Coach Steve Boden maintain his side’s unbeaten start to the new season.
All eyes now turn to next weekend as the Knights welcome a star-studded Saracens side – and potentially former team-mate Nick Tompkins - to Castle Park hoping to pull off the win of the season and continue their unbeaten run.
