The Dragons academy U17s make eleven changes to the starting XV as they return to action on Sunday afternoon to take on RGC1404 U17s at the Caerphilly Centre of Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach, 2:00pm kick off.
It is the side’s second fixture in a mini-series between the Dragons, Cardiff Rugby and RGC, with the Men of Gwent split into two squads, Black and Red, as the future stars take to the field for the first time in nearly two years.
The Men of Gwent will be looking to bounce back following Wednesday night’s loss against Cardiff Rugby.
It will also be another opportunity for spectators to come and support the players with fans allowed back in to watch, with entry just £3 on the door.
The starting fifteen includes Barney Thomas who moves from loosehead to tighthead with Jamie Reynolds and hooker Tom Wilton joining him in the front row.
Ethan Evans retains his spot in the second row and is partnered by Jacob Kinnear to complete the front five.
Angus Brown has moved to the blindside and will captain the side with Kobi Rees and number eight Evan Minto completing the pack.
A Change at half back sees Scrum half Will Graham and outside half Jake Williams line up from the start and Aiden Boschoff keeps his place at centre and is partnered with Logan Yendle in midfield.
Rhys Lewis-Meredith comes into the side and will wear the 11 jersey and is joined on the other wing by Daniel Birt and fullback Ieuan Rowlands completes the starting line-up.
