Dragons lock Max Williams made a winning start to life on loan at Coventry in the RFU English Championship on Boxing Day.
Williams joined the second tier side just before Christmas and started in the second row for their 26-22 festive bonus point victory over Ampthill at the Butts Park Arena.
The 23-year-old has joined Coventry on loan for the remainder of the 2021/2022 campaign due to gain some valuable experience and game time following a long injury lay off.
The Nigeria born Williams joins fellow Dragon Tom Griffiths on loan at Coventry while prop Luke Yendle and full back Ioan Davies are both on loan at RFU championship rivals the Cornish Pirates.
Coventry will next face Richmond away on January 2nd while the Pirates travel to take on Ealing Trailfinders on New Year’s Day.
