Dragons stars Aaron Wainwright, Nick Tompkins, Leon Brown and Elliot Dee helped guide Wales to a tense 25-24 win over Scotland at BT Murrayfield.
Wing Louis Rees-Zammit made it three tries in two Six Nations matches as Wales secured another victory in the 2021 championship.
For the second time in as many games a player was sent off. A week after the Irish lost Peter O’Mahony for driving into Tomas Francis at a ruck, Scotland lost prop Zander Fagerson for doing the same thing to Wyn Jones in the 54th minute.
Even so, it remained a tight contest to the end and it was Rees-Zammit’s solo effort in the 70th minute that edged Wales into the lead they just managed to hold onto to make it two from two and go top of the Six Nations table.
That try was his second of the game and it also earned Wales a bonus point. The other tries came from Wyn Jones and Liam Williams with a penalty from Leigh Halfpenny and a conversion from Callum Sheedy.
