The first-ever Dragons Virtual Cup continues at pace with a huge level of engagement in Round Two – congratulations to the 32 teams that have qualified for the next stage!
This season due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Dragons Cup could not take place as normal – so the Dragons Community team in association with District A GMG and supported by Community Headline partner, Centerprise International, launched the Virtual Cup.
A total of 128 teams from Under-12s to Under-17s and youth and girls’ hubs all entered in twitter online voting to see who progresses!
Supporters, players and families can all get involved with the polling on the Dragons Community twitter account – DRA_Community.
The aim of the cup is to provide some inspiration and engagement during these challenging times and our clubs have certainly embraced this beyond our expectations and a massive thank you to all the teams involved and the army of support that they have attracted.
Congratulations to our Round Two Winners who will now progress to Round Three, which kicks-off on Monday 22ndFebruary at 10am.
