Back row star Harrison Keddie has today signed a new deal with Dragons.
Keddie has been a standout performer for Dean Ryan’s men once again this season and has now been rewarded with a new long-term deal at his home region.
A product of the Dragons Academy, Keddie made his league debut in 2016 against Zebre and has gone on to make 73 appearances for the Men of Gwent, scoring seven tries.
The 24-year-old has been an instrumental figure this campaign and has captained Dragons on numerous occasions, including the recent derby win over Ospreys.
Director of Dragons Rugby, Dean Ryan, said: “Harrison has been one of our most consistent performers throughout this season and a senior figure in our squad.
“We want our senior players to remain here, compete and get even better with the Dragons and Harrison’s new contract is the latest part of that process.”
Keddie said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time here, especially since Dean has come in. I’m delighted to have committed my future here and looking forward to what is ahead.
“I’ve grew up watching this region, then I was in the Academy and to captain was a very proud moment for me. I’m just really excited to see where we go forward.
“I want to keep developing in every way I can, keep performing and pushing myself forward.”
