Dragons are delighted to announce Wales international star Elliot Dee has signed a new long-term contract.
Homegrown hooker Dee – currently part of the successful Wales squad in the Guinness Six Nations – has become a key performer for Dragons since his regional debut in 2013.
The front rower has gone on to make over a century of appearances for the Men of Gwent.
The 26-year-old has also impressed on the international stage and has won 35 caps for Wales, including an appearance in last weekend’s Triple Crown winning performance over England.
“Elliot is passionate about playing for Dragons and determined to play a big role in our future success as a region,” said Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby.
“He has aspirations for the future, both for Dragons and Wales, and we’re pleased that he feels our environment is the best place for him to achieve those goals.”
A product of the Dragons Academy, Dee has made 115 appearances for the region, scoring 20 tries in his eight seasons at Rodney Parade.
Dee featured for Wales at Under-18s and Under-20s level before winning a senior call-up and making his international debut against Georgia at the Principality Stadium in November 2017.
He was involved in the 2019 World Cup squad as Wales reached the semi-finals.
