Dragons will face Northampton Saints at home in the European Challenge Cup Round of 16 after the draw took place at midday on the 9th of March 2021.
Dean Ryan’s men will host the Saints at Rodney Parade on the weekend of 2/3/4 April.
Dragons last met the Saints in the 2018/2019 European Challenge Cup group stage, where the Gallagher Premiership side came out victors in both matches.
If the Dragons were to win their last 16 tie, they will face Harelquins or Ulster Rugby at Rodney Parade in the Quarter Final of the European Challenge Cup.
Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: "We're looking forward to the Challenge Cup campaign and potentially playing both knockout games at Rodney Parade.
"Northampton are having a strong season in the Gallagher Premiership and it will be an excitng tie against a side who Dragons have recent history with in his tournament. We look forward to the European challenge ahead."
The Round of 16 matches will take place on the weekend of 2/3/4 April, with the quarter-finals scheduled for the following weekend (9/10/11 April). The exact dates, venues and kick-off times of the Round of 16 matches will be announced shortly following the draws
