Dragons centre Conor Edwards helped the Doncaster Knights make it two wins from two in the English Championship with a narrow 20-19 victory over Coventry at Castle Park.
Edwards joined the Yorkshire based outfit on a season-long-loan just under two weeks ago and made his debut for the side on Friday evening, starting at inside centre.
The 23-year-old from Croesyceiliog made the move north in a bid for game time as he is one of the youngsters hindered by the lack of rugby over the last 12 months.
Edwards impressed on his first start for the club in midfield with his direct running and strong defence helping Head Coach Steve Boden maintain his side’s unbeaten start to the new season.
