The work of Dragons Community across the region has been recognised with a nomination as part of the UK’s largest diversity awards.
The National Diversity Awards celebrate role models, entrepreneurs and community organisations.
Dragons Community have been nominated in the Diverse Company of the Year category for the amazing work the team does across a range of provisions.
The team works hard to engage, inspire and create lifelong positive impacts across our region, through the delivery of innovative, diverse and inclusive activations.
A growing ‘Family of Provisions’ encompasses Sport, Education, Inclusion, Community Outreach and Health & Wellbeing to drive change and positive outcomes.
Engaging with over 40,000 on an annual basis – from youngsters to the elderly – the team strives to make positive impacts on people's lives.
The National Diversity Awards receives over 60,000 nominations and votes annually. Founder and CEO, Paul Sesay, said: “As we enter our tenth awards season, The National Diversity Awards prepare to welcome a host of outstanding role models and charities to our family. We look to those who represent progress, spirit and resilience, and I cannot wait to learn about the wonderful work being carried out this year.”
The prestigious black-tie event, which recognises nominees in their respective fields of diversity, including age, disability, gender, race, faith, religion and sexual orientation, will be held at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on February 4, 2022.
Nominations are now open and close on Friday, June 4. Shortlisted nominees will be announced shortly after this date.
