Back row Aaron Wainwright will captain the Dragons as they face Ospreys in Round Three of the Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup on Sunday at Rodney Parade (kick-off 1pm).
Wales international Wainwright leads the team and there is also a welcome return for Ollie Griffiths as Dean Ryan makes a total of six changes to his starting line-up.
Number Eight Dan Baker, who this week signed a new contract with the Men of Gwent, is also part is new-look back row as he faces his former region.
Lock Ben Carter is back in the engine room and prop Greg Bateman completes the changes in the pack.
Centre Jack Dixon returns to partner Aneurin Owen in midfield while Josh Lewis is the final change at full back.
Hooker Richard Hibbard, lock Joe Maksymiw and back row Huw Taylor are named among the replacements.
Ryan said: “We are looking to be consistent in our selection with a core of senior players and then rotating some of our youngsters so they can also get game time.
“We have chatted to Toby (Booth) to ensure we get the balance right and the Welsh derby games have so far produced competitive games, which produces great experiences.
“This competition has really freshened up training and people have become alive with the opportunity. It has been really good for us.
“We had a very different challenge last week (against Cardiff Blues), in terms of a side not letting us play. We had to find a different way to get pace in the game and the Ospreys will be very different again.
“I’m looking forward to playing and it is our last game at Rodney Parade this season; it would be nice to finish there with a good result.”
