Dragons Community are promoting and celebrating women’s and girls’ rugby across the region at our home game against Edinburgh at Rodney Parade next Saturday (November 27).
The community department are hosting a rugby festival on match day from 11am for girls of all ages from our Gwent HUBs to highlight women’s rugby in the community.
The occasion will mark a celebration of women involved in Gwent rugby and girls playing in the festival will take part in a lap of honour around the famous Rodney Parade turf at half-time.
There will also be FREE prosecco for ladies in the marquee ahead of kick off between 3pm and 4:30pm - while stocks last - for female supporters attending our United Rugby Championship fixture.
From Monday (November 22) until Sunday (November 28) there will also be a 25% discount on all Dragons items online and in the club shop - including on game day.
Head of Inclusion at Dragons Rugby, Gareth Sullivan, said: “As part of our growing #DragonsFamily we feel recognising the growth in women’s participation in rugby within the Gwent region is important.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming all our female players, coaches, season members and supporters to our game against Edinburgh at Rodney Parade.
