Dragons Rugby formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant before our EPCR Challenge Cup tie against Gloucester Rugby last weekend.
We recognise the enormous value that serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our community and the country as a whole.
By signing the covenant, we are committing to supporting the Armed Forces community and associated charities.
The signing follows Dragons marking Remembrance Day earlier this season by wearing a special jersey that was embellished with poppies and featured the iconic Memorial Gates at Rodney Parade.
The Men of Gwent wore the kit to commemorate those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom and every shirt sale generated a donation to the Royal British Legion.
Dragons were represented for the official signing on match day by Board Member Colin Wilks while Lieutenant Colonel Kevan Thornber from HQ 160th (Welsh) Brigade signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
