Young rugby hopefuls from across our region enjoyed a special BT Community Festival ahead of our United Rugby Championship (URC) fixture with Scarlets on Saturday.
Teams from Caerleon RFC, Abertillery RFC, Abergavenny RFC, Deri RFC and Oakdale RFC from our region and Cefneithin RFC in Scarlets region took part in the BT sponsored festival - in association with Home-Start - ahead of the main URC fixture.
Around 200 players aged under-10 took part in the fun festival during the morning at the home of the Dragons.
Then at half-time they were presented with medals by Simon Davies (BT) and Lowri Rees (EE), alongside Ellis Shipp and James Benjamin from the Dragons, before enjoying a lap of honour around Rodney Parade.
Congratulations to all the teams for taking part and to BT, EE and Home-start for supporting the special community event at Rodney Parade.
