Centre Max Clark is aiming to hit new heights with Dragons RFC after being taken out of his comfort zone with his move to Wales.
Midfielder Clark spent 13 seasons rising through the ranks at Bath before making the switch to the Men of Gwent.
It is a real statement of intent from then Bridgend-born back and the 26-year-old firmly believes the move will help push his game on.
“I had fulfilled many of my ambitions at Bath and the time to move felt right,” he said.
“This is a big change for me. It takes me out of my comfort zone and tests me, but with that comes massive chances.
“I’m on edge, but in the right way to be because I want to impress at the Dragons.
“All the talk about coming to Wales to try and play international rugby is all well and good, but nothing will happen if I don’t perform well for the Dragons,” he added.
“That’s why I’ve come here, and I owe it to the Dragons to produce for them for bringing me over the bridge.”
