Players and staff from Dragons RFC were out and about on Tuesday afternoon (December 20) taking part in charitable activities ahead of Christmas!
Supporting Dragons Community team, the squad had a busy afternoon with special visits right across Gwent.
The day kicked off with Ben Carter, Jared Rosser, Aneurin Owen and George Nott supporting our Walking Rugby sessions at Rodney Parade.
Max Clark, Matthew Screech, Ben Fry and Sean Lonsdale were also at the home of Dragons RFC as they helped the Elected Home Education programme.
Newport Food Back benefitted from our manpower with Will Reed, Brodie Coghlan, George Young, Luke Yendle, Chris Coleman, Josh Reynolds, Nathan Evans, Che Hope, Lloyd Fairbrother and Huw Taylor, plus backroom members Ryan Harris and Matt O'Brien, working at three locations across the region.
Our official charity partners Signposted Cymru had a visit from Aaron Wainwright, Rhodri Jones, Ryan Woodman, Ross Moriarty, Joe Westwood, Lewis Jones and Forwards Coach Mefin Davies.
Our Care Home Support programme saw Jack Dixon, Lennon Greggains, Taine Basham, Gonzalo Bertranou, plus Head Coach Dai Flanagan and Dan Baugh, visit a Cwmgelli Lodge in Blackwood.
The Specialist Disability Care provision allowed Aki Seiuli, JJ Hanrahan, Rio Dyer, Sio Tomkinson and Defence Coach Simon Cross make a trip to CPI Care Ltd in Newport.
Will Rowlands, Sam Davies, Ashton Hewitt, Joe Davies, Angus O'Brien and Forwards Coach Luke Narraway spread Christmas cheer at the children's ward at The Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran.
Finally, Bradley Roberts, Rob Evans, Steff Hughes and Ollie Griffiths visited Rodney Parade in the evening for our Late Night Shopping event in conjunction with Newport County.
