Dragons Rugby can confirm the United Rugby Championship (URC) clash against the Scarlets on April 23 (kick-off 3pm) will take place at Rodney Parade – and tickets are on sale NOW!
The Welsh derby has been the showpiece event at Judgement Day in the Principality Stadium in recent years.
However, the hotly anticipated derby will now take place at Rodney Parade as we prepare to welcome our friends from West Wales.
Mark Jones, Managing Director at Dragons Rugby, said: “Derby fixtures with the Scarlets are always big occasions and I’m sure our supporters will turn out in force for this game on home soil in Newport.
“We looked at the possibility of Judgement Day this season, but with so many complications to the season the decision was made, with the full support of our regional colleagues, to play these games at club grounds.
“Tickets for our game with Scarlets, alongside Ulster in the URC and Gloucester in Europe, are now on sale and we hope to be able to issue an update on our rearranged home derby with Cardiff Rugby as soon as possible.”
