Dragons star Gonzalo Bertranou grabbed a second half try and picked up the player-of-the-match award as Argentina defeated Scotland 26-18 on Saturday evening.
Bertranou was handed a late starting spot for Los Pumas after scrum half Tomas Cubelli was forced out with an injury in the warm-up.
And the scrum half made his mark in dazzling fashion as he shone throughout - in what will be Michael Cheika’s first match as head coach of the Pumas- and his second half score proved the difference between the teams at Estadio 23 de Agosto, San Salvador de Jujuy.
The two teams meet again next Saturday evening (kick-off 8.10pm UK) at Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena in Salta.
