Dragons prop Aki Seiuli has been named in the Samoa squad for the upcoming Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) in Fiji next month.
Seiuli – who recently signed new terms with the Men of Gwent – is part of a 30-man squad selected by Manu Samoa Head Coach, Vaovasamanaia Seilala Mapusua.
The 29-year-old could now make his debut for Samoa after being denied a first cap in the postponed fixture with the Barbarians at Twickenham last season.
Vaovasamanaia has named Seiuli as one of 12 debutants in his new-look squad. Other notable players who are set to make their debut are Lyon Number Eight Jordan Taufua, former Wallabies flyhalf/inside centre, Duncan Paia'aua, Waratahs front row Andrew Tuala, former New Zealand sevens represenative Fritz Lee and Moana Pasifika halfback Ere Enari.
Samoa face Australia A (July 2), Tonga (July 9) and Fiji (July 16) in the PNC.
