Five talented young homegrown players have signed Academy contracts to continue their impressive development at Dragons.
After a season where Dragons Under-18s were proudly crowned Regional Age Grade champions, the next crop of talented Gwent players have today committed to the region.
Centre Harri Ackerman - who captained Dragons U18s to the title - scrum half Zak Roberts, outside half Sam Berry, wing Walker Price and prop Jordan Morris have all agreed Academy contracts for the first time.
Ackerman, Berry and Price were all recently part of the Wales Under-18s squad that took part in the U18s Men’s Six Nations Festival in Marcoussis, France.
The talented quintet will now look to take the next step on the region’s player pathway programme next season.
Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, said: “We have always stated that the continued growth of our club is underpinned by prospering homegrown youngsters coming through our Academy system.
“We’re therefore pleased that these five young talents have committed to Dragons and we look forward to helping them continue to grow and develop in our environment in the coming years.”
