Dragons RFC ALLSTARS returned to action on Sunday afternoon with an impressive victory over the Pembrokeshire Vikings at Risca RFC.
The home side looked the part in their new kit as a they put in a passionate performance to claim a thrilling 26-17 win over their rivals.
Tries for the ALLSTARS came from Callum House, Simon Hopkins, Gavin Evans and a brace from Marc Jones.
An impressive team performance rewarded Dragons with a win with every player playing a valuable part in the victory.
Senior Dragons player George Nott had this to say on the performance: “I was incredibly proud to see the All-Stars run out in their new kit.
“They played with so much passion and it was great to see because that’s something we’ve spoken about as a first team, so to see it feed into the ALLSTARS was fantastic.
“Those boys did the whole region proud on Sunday, and I was really impressed with how well they worked as a team, especially considering the variety of abilities.”
Nott continued “There are a lot of talented players in that squad and it’s great that they have the opportunity to showcase it.
“I’m looking forward to watching them develop as the season goes on.”
