Five Dragons were involved as Wales defeated Argentina 20-13 in a physical contest at the Principality Stadium on Saturday Evening.
Will Rowlands, Rio Dyer and replacements Rhodri Jones and Ben Carter all helped Wayne Pivac’s side get over the line against Gonzalo Bertranou’s Argentina with the scrum half starting for the visitors.
Tries from Taulupe Faletau and Tomos Williams, plus seven points from Gareth Anscombe and three from Rhys Priestland helped seal the win.
Argentina responded with two Emiliano Boffelli penalties and a late Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro try.
But Wales' much improved defensive display after last week’s defeat to the All Blacks, allowed them to hold on for victory.
It was a much-needed win for Wales, who go on to host Georgia and Australia in their remaining November fixtures.
