Wales international duo Taine Basham and Ben Carter are both handed starting jerseys as Dragons RFC complete pre-season in West Wales against Scarlets on Friday evening (kick-off 7pm).
Basham and Carter will get valuable game time ahead of the new BKT United Rugby Championship season as the Men of Gwent make seven changes.
Samoa loosehead Aki Seiuli is named up front while Ben Fry plays at openside flanker. Moriarty moves to the six spot to accommodate the return of Basham at Number Eight.
Young fly half Will Reed gets his first taste of pre-season action while wing David Richards is named out wide. Jared Rosser will play at outside centre with Max Clark joining him in midfield.
The bench includes a number of exciting homegrown talents with the likes of Ben Moa, Che Hope, Joe Westwood and Oli Andrew all eager to impress at Parc y Scarlets.
