George Nott is set to make his debut for Dragons RFC as the team face Munster Rugby in the BKT United Rugby Championship at Rodney Parade on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
The Men of Gwent make three changes to the side that were defeated at Edinburgh in Round One as they look to start the home season strongly.
Lock Nott – a summer recruit from London Irish – partners captain Will Rowlands in the second row while Wales international Taine Basham returns in the openside jersey.
The other change to the starting line-up is a return for Ashton Hewitt on the wing. Prop Rob Evans and centre Max Clark could also make their debuts from the bench while there is a recall for Aaron Wainwright among the replacements.
Head Coach Dai Flanagan said: “We’re looking forward to being back on home soil and looking for a response after our opening performance.
“Munster don’t lose twice on the bounce often, so we have to respect them.
“But we’ve also got to look after what we can look after, and we've got to show improvement. We've got to fight for each other, fight for the area we come from and it's a chance to show that at Rodney Parade.”
