Dragons RFC Community team have been busy working in clubs across our region over the last five weeks and delivered to over 1,270 children.
In partnership with Tata Steel, Sport Caerphilly and Centerprise International, the Community team hit the road to visit Beaufort RFC, Bargoed RFC, Blaenavon RFC, Monmouth RFC, Blackwood RFC and Abergavenny RFC and host skills camps, demonstrating the fun and enjoyment rugby brings - with some special guests along the way.
At our home we had one camp a week, welcoming children from the region to have a unique experience learning rugby and having fun while embracing the history of Rodney Parade.
Pro Camps – hosted at Ystrad Mynach - are a place for older players to come and get coached by our senior staff, allowing them an insight into what it takes to be a professional player at the Dragons.
