Dragons RFC prop Aki Seiuli started for the Barbarians as Manu Samoa secured a 28-14 win at Brive’s Stade Amedee in their first of two warm-up matches ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
Samoa took control from the start with Fritz Lee - a late replacement for Alamanda Motuga in the 23 - scoring from a driving maul.
The Samoans led 11-0 after the first 40 and increased that advantage after the break with Tumua Manu going in for Samoa’s second try before Enari grabbed a third.
Pat Lam’s Barbarians - that featured Tim Nanai-Williams and Jack Lam - managed to score two late tries of their own courtesy of De Preez and Speight.
