Head Coach Dai Flanagan has urged his Dragons to on the attack when they travel to face the superstars of Pau in the EPCR Challenge Cup this Saturday.
The Men of Gwent opened the new European season with a bonus point 24-7 win over Oyonnax after a late three-try burst blew the French visitors away.
Dragons face Top 14 opposition again this weekend with a trip to fourth-placed Pau (kick-off 5.30pm UK).
Pau are set to bring back their big guns after a much-changed side lost 45-5 to Hollywoodbets Sharks in Durban.
Dragons will also be the latest side looking to win at the Stade de Hameau this season - Pau have won all their Top 14 games there beating Racing 92, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux-Begles and Stade Francais.
“You can’t underestimate five points in Europe, we didn’t get a bonus-point win last season, and it’s pleasing to have won two on the bounce at Rodney Parade,” said Flanagan, whose side also beat the Ospreys.
“We’ve got a win on the board ahead of an away game in France against a team who are absolutely flying in the Top 14.
“They are full of superstars in their team with Dan Robson at nine, Joe Simmonds at ten, Luke Whitelock at eight and I am sure his brother Sam will make his debut against us.
“We’ve got a tough task but what is great for us now is that we can go full-out attack there. I want our boys to take belief from that, specifically the last play when we got Dane Blacker running into space, feeding into the outside backs.”
