First team stars from the Men of Gwent were recently special guests at David Spear Commercial Vehicles – the Official Vehicle Partner of the Dragons RFC.
Dragons and David Spear Commercial Vehicles have enjoyed a long and successful partnership - with the relationship first launched back in 2007.
This season our partnership has seen David Spear Commercial Vehicles once again provide fleet vehicles for the region.
Aside from the vehicles, the relationship has also seen David Spear Commercial Vehicles proudly displayed at Rodney Parade through static and digital advertisements along with seats in the Dragons Business Club within the Bisley Lounge.
Sio Tomkinson and Joe Westwood have also been sponsored by David Spear Commercial Vehicles throughout the BKT United Rugby Championship season, linking both companies across various areas.
Several senior players – including Sio Tomkinson, Joe Westwood, Argentina international Gonzalo Bertranou, Samoa ace Aki Seiuli and Wales star Elliot Dee – recently visited David Spear for a tour of the business and to meet staff.
Dan Nicholls, Commercial Sales Manager at Dragons RFC, said: “It was fantastic to get a number of the players along to David Spear Commercial Vehicles to show them the facility and meet the staff.
“This is a long-standing partnership between two parties that share values and principles, based around honesty and transparency - while providing the best customer solution and experience.
“We’ve really enjoyed working with David, Geraint and Dan again this season and look forward to taking the relationship forward for many more seasons to come.”
Established in 1987, David Spear Commercial Vehicles are committed to offering the best selection of new, nearly new and used commercial vehicles. The family run firm has grown from strength to strength, from what started life as a small yard showcasing just a handful of vehicles.
From their Tredegar based headquarters, and more recently the Cardiff showroom, David Spear Commercial Vehicles are ideally situated to serve customers on the M4 and M5 corridors.
