Dragons RFC hooker Bradley Roberts was a second half replacement but Wales are still searching for a first victory in this year's Guinness Six Nations after slipping to a 20-10 defeat at Principality Stadium against England.
England controlled long periods of the first half but only led 8-3 thanks to a try by Anthony Watson. Second half tries by Kyle Sinckler and Ollie Lawrence saw England eventually prevail in what proved to be a real dogfight.
Louis Rees-Zammit gave Welsh fans hope immediately after the re-start when he intercepted from halfway and ran unopposed to the try-line.
But ultimately England’s superior composure and aerial dominance paved the way to a first win on Welsh soil since 2017.
