Dragons RFC scrum half scored a late try but it was South Africa who finished their Rugby Championship campaign with a hard-fought 22-21 victory over Argentina at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Los Pumas were left to rue missed attempts at goal as Santiago Carreras missed two penalties and one conversion.
Mateo Carreras and Bertranou scored Argentina’s tries but it was too little too late for the visitors as South Africa had a cushion to cling on to.
