Dragons Women Under-18s were narrowly defeated 19-12 by RGC (Piws) in a top-of-the-table clash in the Regional Age Grade Championship at Ysgol Cwm Brombil on Sunday.
The two teams had both won three from three, but it was RGC who edged the contest to move top of the table on 19 points. Both Dragons and Cardiff have 16 points moving into an enthralling final weekend of action.
Centre Isla McMullan and captain Evie Hill grabbed the tries as Dragons were forced to settle for a losing bonus point.
Dragons Women now face RGC (Du) on Sunday as three teams look to secure the title. Dragons are already guaranteed a top three finish.
