Wales U20s Head coach Liza Burgess has named the side to face France in the U20s Six Nations Summer Series at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi in Parma, on Thursday, July 4 (kick-off 9am UK) - and she names five Dragons in her match day squad.
Abi Meyrick, Lucy Isaac, Amy Williams, Katie Bevans and Savannah Picton-Powell all feature in Italy.
Centre Jenna De Vera and backrower Jess Rogers are named as co-captains, with Wales full-back Nel Metcalfe selected at full-back.
Metcalfe, who has won three Wales caps for the senior side, joined up with squad after the Wales’ WXV play off win against Spain in Cardiff, last Saturday.
The squad includes prop Maisie Davies, lock Alaw Pyrs, fly-half Hanna Marshall, scrum-half Seren Singleton and prop Cadi-Lois Davies who all trained with the extended senior Six Nations squad for the 2024 championship.
The Wales WU20s squad includes 21 players who were in the Brython Thunder and Gwalia Lightning squads which played in last season’s Celtic Challenge tournament.

The teams are all at very different stages in their development and this competition is a great way to measure where we are.
“This tournament is all about us and what we do, and we will know where we stand after this opening game. We know how we will measure our performance and it is all about how we adapt and learn to what will be a new and exciting experience for the players and staff.”
