Dragons RFC can confirm that experienced tighthead prop Dmitri Arhip has joined the club on a short-term injury cover deal.
The 35-year-old joins the club following previous spells at Ospreys – where he made almost 100 appearances over five seasons – and Cardiff Rugby – where he made 71 outings.
The Moldovan strongman will add to the front row options available to the Men of Gwent in the coming months in the BKT United Rugby Championship.
Head Coach Dai Flanagan said: “We’re pleased to officially agree terms with Dmitri as a short-term injury cover signing.
“He has been with us for several months getting back to full fitness and he is now in fantastic shape and ready to make an impact for us.
“Dmitri has been one of the best scrummaging props in the URC over many years and is a superb role model and professional.
“His vast experience will be a huge boost for us during this spell where we are without several front rows.”
