Wales Under-20s produced a stunning second-half comeback at Cardiff Arms Park to clinch a second win of the Six Nations.
Italy led a feisty encounter 15-0 at half-time following a score by prop Marcos Gallorini and a penalty try.
But the loss of Gallorini helped Wales hit back with 27 unanswered points through Harry Thomas, Harry Beddall, Kodi Stone and Matty Young.
The bonus-point win was not enough to lift Wales above Italy in the table. However it provided Wales with only a third win in their last 15 games of the junior Six Nations.
Dragons RFC duo Nick Thomas and Huw Anderson both started the fixture in the capital while Jordan Morris was an impressive second half replacement.
