Players from Dragons RFC made a special visit as the 19th Annual Disability Six Nations Rugby Festival 2024 returned to the Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach on Thursday (March 14).
Over 400 young people from schools across the region took part, giving them the opportunity to experience the thrills of rugby, develop new skills and make new friends.
The popularity of the event has grown over the years - with only 30 pupils turning up to a muddy Penallta Park in 2005 for the first event.
Sport Caerphilly once again hosted the event - with support from Trinity Fields and sponsors AJM Embroidery and Phylyp Butler Memorial Charity - with fun skill stations in the morning followed by a Six Nations tournament in the aftenoon.
Players from Dragons RFC joined in following training and once again offered their long-standing support to make the day a huge success.
A huge well done to the event organisers on such an inspirational day and to all the schoolchildren that took part!
