Dragons RFC captain Ben Carter is set for an enforced spell on the sidelines after having surgery on a knee injury.
Carter – who has made six appearances for the Men of Gwent this season – sustained an MCL injury in his left knee while on international duty with Wales at the end of October.
The 23-year-old has now successful undergone surgery on his knee and begins his rehabilitation and recovery programme.
Interim Head Coach Filo Tiatia said: “We are pleased that surgery was a complete success for Ben, and he has now started his journey to recovery with our medical and support staff.
“Ben has our full support and very best wishes, and we will look forward to his return next year.”
