Harry Wilson starts at outside centre as Dragons A take on Ospreys Development in a friendly fixture at St Helen’s on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
Wilson is one of eight changes to the side that beat Scarlets Development 73-21 last weekend at Rodney Parade, while David Richards, who scored a brace on that occasion, switches to inside centre.
Full back Jordan Williams and scrum-half Che Hope both start, along with winger Harry Rees-Weldon who will be hoping to add to his two tries off the bench last Saturday.
Up front there are starts for hooker Oli Burrows and Newport RFC tighthead Nathan Evans who both came off the bench last weekend.
Meanwhile, Barny Langton-Cryer partners captain Joe Davies in the second row and there is also a start for Dragons Academy player Kobi Rees at seven.
Player/Coach Dan Lydiate said: “Obviously we want to improve on the performance of last week, but everyone’s really bought into it, got on board since day one and there’s good chemistry out there amongst the boys and you can see that with how everyone played with a smile on their faces.
“Ospreys will be a well-drilled side and there’s no doubt about that, we’re going to have to step up our performance.
“They’ll have some senior boys playing in the game, so I dare say it’ll be a good test for us. Ospreys normally have a good crowd so hopefully we’ll have a few fans as well and it’ll be a good game.”
