Boss Dai Flanagan has revealed back duo Cai Evans and Jordan Williams are back in the selection mix – while back row ace Aaron Wainwright is set for his comeback appearance this weekend.
Evans (hamstring) and Williams (ankle) have both sat out BKT United Rugby Championship action this season to date through injury.
But both have returned to training as Flanagan finalises his squad to make the trip to Galway to tackle Connacht Rugby on Saturday evening (kick-off 7.35pm).
“We have a couple of players returning and we are deciding whether to start them or put them on the bench,” said Flanagan.
“We have Cai and Jordan back in the fold, (Aaron) Wainwright is selectable, George Nott is available.
“We have had two teams on the field for our training sessions with quality out there, which is superb.”
On Wainwright’s potential return after picking up a hamstring injury with Wales in the summer, Flanagan added: “He was flat out on Monday. He has been awesome; it’s his first major injury and he is a week ahead of schedule.
“That’s credit to the work that he has done and the hours he has put in. I am excited to see how he goes.”
