Wales Under-20s Head Coach Richard Whiffin has named seven young Dragons in his squad to face England tomorrow (Friday, December 19) at Ystrad Mynach (kick-off 3pm).
The side is led by Dragons' Cerrig Smith who will captain the side from the flanker position, while Rhys Cole is named on the wing.
Nathan Davies, Tiehi Chatham, Carter Pritchard, Morgan Carter and Noah Morgan have all been named on the bench and are expected to make a massive impact when introduced.
The match at Ystrad Mynach will kick off at 3pm and will be used as an opportunity to prepare for and as a selection opportunity ahead of the 2026 U20 Six Nations.
Head Coach Whiffin will be monitoring the players closely to see how they respond to the demands of such a challenging encounter.
"There is nothing better than a test match to put the pressure right on them and see how they react in those high pressure moments," said Whiffin.
“It’s always a good challenge to play against England, the boys will be up for the game and the challenge against our closest rivals so it’s great to have them come over the bridge and take us on at Ystrad Mynach."
It's free entry so make sure to get yourself down to Ystrad to support your Dragons representing Wales tomorrow afternoon.
