Dragons 18s Make Changes For Scarlets

21/02/2025

Following last weekend’s loss to Ospreys in Llandovery, Dragons U18s face Scarlets in a third/fourth play-off to finish the RAG block.

The game will be held at Cardiff Arms Park, where Dragons produced one of their best displays of the block, away at finalists Cardiff, who went on to beat Scarlets in their semi-final.

Dragons have made nine personnel changes plus three positional switches to the side which was named to face Ospreys in their last game.

Cerrig Smith once again captains the side, although this time from the base of the scrum having played at lock last week, with Luke Daniel switching from blindside to openside in order to accommodate Elliot Beaven.

Joshua Parfitt is joined by Sam Walters in the second row, meanwhile the front row is all change, with Lewis Robsinson-Blanche, Tiaan Hall and Max Woodward all given starting berths.

Carter Pritchard and Joe Salter come in at half-back, with a changed centre pairing in David Petrescu and Morgan Carter outside them.

Fullback Harry Dawes is once again alongside wing Rhys Cole in the back three with Ryley Fussell switching from centre to the number 14 jersey.

On the bench, Chester Creel, Regan Jones and Scott Crewe will look to empty the tank when they come on in the front row, meanwhile there are also places for Ashton Swain and Tiehi Chatham amongst the forward replacements.

Cai Wardman, Aneurin Evans and Brogan Leary are the back options amongst the substitutes.
