Boss Filo Tiatia will jet out to South Africa with his Dragons today (Tuesday) urging his squad to adopt the right mentality and prepare well for the crunch clash with Emirates Lions.
Qualification for the knockout stages of the EPCR Challenge Cup is on the line when the sides meet in the altitude of the Emirates Airline Park on Saturday (kick-off 3.15pm UK).
The Men of Gwent have another short turnaround and travel to content with, after facing Section Paloise at Rodney Parade on Sunday afternoon.
And Tiatia has acknowledged that the right mentality will need to be prevalent if they are to return with the performance they crave.
"The recovery is like it was from Cardiff to the Scarlets (Boxing Day to New Year's Day), we have learnt from that short turnaround,” said Tiatia.
"It will be a challenge over there, I have travelled over there many times on a short turaround, and mentality is important, but also how you prepare and know your body. We need to get it right.
"The point of difference is the mental fortitude and capacity to stay in it.
“Every person is the same until fatigue starts to kick in, then you see the guys that push through it."
