Dragons Under-18s are heading on the road for their second game of this season’s WRU Regional Age Grade Championships as they travel to Rygbi Gogledd Cymru.
The game, at Rhyl RFC on Sunday (kick-off 2:30pm) sees the young Dragons look for their first win of this year’s tournament after last weekend’s defeat to Ospreys.
Once again, Cerrig Smith captains the side, however he switches to six in a straight swap with Luke Daniel who partners Joshua Bradley in the second row.
Two thirds of the front row remain the same as Tiaan Hall and Max Woodward are joined by Lewys Robinson-Blanche with Regan Jones on the bench.
In the back row, Tiehi Chatham moves from the base of the scrum to seven with Jake Shepard wearing the eight jersey.
In the backs, Cai Wardman and Will Ford start at nine and 10 in an all-new half-back pairing, with Tegwyn Mahoney and Brogan Leary taking the centre berths.
In the back three, Rhys Cole keeps his 11 jersey and is joined by Ryley Fussell on the other wing with Joe Salter at full-back.
Chester Creel will look to make an impact from the bench at hooker, along with tighthead Scott Crewe, meanwhile Joshua Parfitt and Elliott Beavan complete the pack on the bench.
Carter Pritchard will join the fray at scrum-half hoping to add to his try from last week and there are also places in the 23 for Ethan Patterson and Charlie Greggory.
