Dragons RFC are celebrating yet another award for our super sustainability work after winning last night at the Welsh Sports Association.
The club were awarded the Welsh Sports Association Best Sustainability Initiative for 2025, sponsored by Floodlighting and Electrical marking our second consecutive year receiving the award.
To receive the award was a huge honour and reflects our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and fostering sustainable practices within our community.
Of course, we didn’t do this all on our own, and our immense gratitude goes out to our incredible partners, Newport Transport Ltd and Stagecoach Group Limited, along with Katie Cross from Pledgeball and Cardiff University for their invaluable assistance.
This is only the beginning as we continue our ECO Dragons project and develop other ways to reduce our Carbon footprint for a sustainable future.
