Dragons RFC have enjoyed a second full season working alongside our good friends at Newport Bus who have been making our city a little greener, smarter, and safer for over 120 years, while bringing our vibrant community closer together.
They extended the ground-breaking partnership with the Men of Gwent ensuring continued to support our eco-friendly projects as we bid to revolutionise match day travel for fans.
A key part of our partnership, Newport Bus have committed to providing FREE bus transport on their whole network of services on home game days, during the 2024/25 season, to Season Members. For the final league game of the season in Newport they have extended the offer even further with FREE travel to all ticket holders this Saturday afternoon.
Morgan Stevens, Operations Director at Newport Transport, who operate Newport Bus, said: “Newport Bus is delighted to collaborate once again with Dragons RFC, offering all home ticket holders free bus travel to and from the home clash against Ulster on Saturday.
“We regularly provide free travel to season ticket holders attending home games to Rodney Parade, and as both Newport Bus and Dragons RFC’s ECO initiatives align, we believe giving ALL home ticket holders the opportunity to travel by bus for this match is a step in the right direction for both organisations to continue to endorse active, environmentally friendly travel. All the best to the squad for Saturday’s game.”
