Head Coach Filo Tiatia has vowed his Dragons will ‘roll our sleeves up’ and give it everything when they finish the season with a clash against the in-form Vodacom Bulls.
The curtain will drop on the BKT United Rugby Championship season for the Men of Gwent in the surroundings of Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2pm UK).
Tiatia acknowledges the size of the challenge ahead of his side against a powerful Bulls side with eyes on second place in the standings.
“We know what their aspirations are, we know where they are in the ladder, and we clearly know where we are,” he said.
“The altitude is a challenge. They have a very good power game, and they have athletes on the edges, so we are under no illusion on the challenge.
“We will roll our sleeves up,” he stressed. “We will recover really well, and the players will have a couple of days to look at Cape Town and learn about South Africa. They can see different cultures and our young players can learn.
“Then, when it is time to get through some work, we will have a closer look at the Bulls and try and zone in on areas that we need to be aware of.”
