Aaron Wainwright has been rewarded for his fine start to the season with a starting spot in Wales’ side to face Argentina on Sunday.
The number eight has been in sparkling form, scoring superb tries against Ulster and Sharks before a player of the match display in the draw against Ospreys.
The Whitehead RFC product is joined by captain Jac Morgan and Cardiff’s Alex Mann in the back row in Steve Tandy’s first team selection since taking charge.
Elsewhere, Dafydd Jenkins and Adam Beard return in the second row, meanwhile Rhys Carré is named at loosehead alongside Dewi Lake and Keiron Assiratti in the front row.
Half-backs see Dan Edwards partner British and Irish Lion Tomos Williams, meanwhile Ben Thomas is joined by Max Llewellyn in midfield.
Josh Adams, Tom Rogers and full back Blair Murray round out the fifteen.
On the bench, Leicester back row Olly Cracknell is set for his debut, meanwhile there is also a return for Louis Rees-Zammit following his time in American Football.
Former Dragon Liam Belcher, who made his debut over the summer, is alongside Nicky Smith and Archie Griffin on the bench.
Freddie Thomas, Kieran Hardy and Jarrod Evans are the other replacements.
