Dragons RFC staged a successful Inaugural Golf Day in support of the Ollie Griffiths Testimonial recently at Bryn Meadows Golf Club.
Ollie – who made over 150 appearances for the Men of Gwent over 10 seasons – is currently enjoying a testimonial year granted by the club.
The latest event in that calendar was the golf day as teams enjoyed 4-Ball Texas Scramble and Shotgun Start competitions around the course close to the club’s Ystrad Mynach base.
All the golfers enjoyed a two-course dinner post round and refreshments that were provided on the day by Heineken.
Thanks go to Heineken for supporting the event with refreshments and all the teams that took part, including Coleg Cymoedd, Valley Water, FAW, Dragon Signs, Route Media, Penallta RFC and GLJ Recycling.
